The Colin Gardner Paper Company was organized in 1900
and at that time included one paperboard machine which produced thirty
tons each day.
By 1908, Mr. Gardner had begun construction of a second mill, calling it the Gardner-Harvey Mill. In 1924 the name of the company was officially changed to Gardner and Harvey Company. In 1959, the company became a division of Diamond National Corporation after merging with the United States Printing and Lithograph Company. |
