Notes: This is the opening page of a diary my mother kept before/after the birth of my little brother, John Giffen Yarbrough, born 1-1-1964 (died 2-27-1965).   I found the diary after the death of my mother in 1976.   His middle name, Giffen, is my maternal grandmother's maiden name.   There is a private Woodlee-Giffen Clan website with information from that side of the family.   The Giffen's were a Scottish clan with lots of interesting history.
