Know al men by these Presents that I, Dow
Yarbrough of the aforesaid state and county do herein and by these
presents do sell to L. C. Richardson of state and Co. as aforesaid
all the Cow Stock of the following description and brand viz-
various colors numbering about (30) thirty head branded on
ribs thus (*brand) Also (*brand) on hip and ear, marked thus (*tag) Said
Stock to be delivered on or before March 1st 1885 unto L. C. Rich
ardson his heirs or assigns and that I by these presnts
do release relinquish myself my heirs and assigns from
any claim or claims whatever on said stock. Also that I
defend any and all claim or claims whatsoever on said
stock forever

McMullen County
Before me W. A. Lowe County Clerk in and for said state
& county on this day personally appeared James Martin Jr.
Known to me to be the person whose name is dubscribed as a witness to this
foregoing instrument and after being by me duly sworn on oath says that
he said Dow Yarbrough the grantor or person who executed the foregoing
instrument sign the same and that he had subscribed the same as
a witness at the request of the grantor. Given under my hand
and seal this the 15th day of October A. D. 1885
