(a.k.a. Bishop) 1862-1908, son of Peter and Margarithe (Gertsch) Bischoff. He was born in Switzerland and lived near Amazonia. He died accidentally, falling from the barn loft and breaking his neck. Burial in Savannah Cemetery. |

Photo of the sign at Mt. Carmel Union Cemetery, Andrew Co. MO. This cemetery has often been neglected. Occasionally it has been thoroughly cleaned by descendants of some of those buried there, but the last time I saw it in 1999, it was totally un-seeable. |
