Jacques R. Devillier, Pvt. of 27 La Inf, Co. D, enlisted March 8, 1862, in Iberville Parish, La, for the length of the war. He was present on the muster rolls to 1 May 1862 and was on the muster roll for 1 Jul to 1 Nov 1862. He died at Mississippi Sprngs on 18 Jul 1862. As on Nereaux's CSR, the given place of death as Clinton [Hospital] was crossed out.
