Cryer, Allen F., Pvt. Co. C. 27th Regt. La. Infty. En. April 30th, 1862, Rapides Par., La. Roll for May and June, 1862, Present. Substitute for Thos. S. Knight of Rapides, La. Roll for July 1st to Nov. 1st, 1862, Died at Miss. Springs, Miss., in August, date not given.

His enrollment date is given in the paragraph above as 30 Apr 1862 in Rapides Parish. He died in August of 1862.

Cryer enlisted 30 Apr 1862 in Rapides Parish, La., for the length of the war. He was a substitute for Thomas S. Knight of Rapides Parish.
 

Above -- On the company muster roll for 1 Jul to 1 Nov 1862 it was noted that he died at "Miss Springs Miss in August" but the exact date was not given.
