The field of mass CSA burial at Maplewood Cemetery, Gordonsville, VA.

The bronze plaque reads, "The Maplewood Memorial Association has erected this tablet as a tribute of respect to some seven hundred Confederate soldiers mainly from North Carolina and Georgia who laid down their lives for the cause they loved and lost. Their names are perished. May their memory be imperishable!"

Cane Ridge Cemetery, Jefferson Co., MS. The pointy-top government marker is easy to spot in a cemetery. This marker belongs to Isaac N. Bedford of the 33rd Miss Inf, Co. D.
