ABFALTER,FRANCIS ABBY 81, of Clinton Township died Thursday, Nov. 22, at Mount Clemens General Hospital. He was born June 21, 1920 in Kalamazoo. Mr. Abfalter, formerly of Warren and Royal Oak, retired in 1982 from Chrysler 9-Mile Stamping were he worked as an electrician for many years. He enjoyed RV camping, spending winters in Apache Junction, Arizona and summers with family and friends in Michigan. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Ellen (Shinn); daughter Nancy (Carl) Ventimiglia; Elizabeth (William) Funk; Mary (Joseph) Kelpinski; grandsons Andrew, Joshua, Zackery and Jeremy. Mr. Abfalter is also survived by twin brother Paul (Marie) Abfalter of Frankenmuth and sister Winifred (Louis) Bogdon of Vienna, West Virginia. A memorial service will be held on Dec. 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul of Tarsus, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Township. The family will be gathering at Fern Hill Country Club immediately following the ceremony. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
