Martha Bozeman, widow of dec'd, . Meda Bozeman, son of dec'd , of full age . John T. Bozeman, son of dec'd. " " . Peter Bozeman, son of dec'd, minor . Martha M. Bozeman, daughter of dec'd, a minor Additional Comments: William Henry Bozeman was born 1802. Martha H Bozeman resided in Hope Hull, Montgomery, Alabama and may also be buried there at Stokes-Carter Cemetery among other family members. William accompanied his father, Peter. and family from Darlington South Carolina. Upon the death of William, his brother Jesse ( born 1973) became adminstrator of the estate, petitioned the Court, and made sure Martha received a Writ of Dower, the home and some land to continue on; all of which are documented in Montgomery County's Probate Office. * Jesse's headstone was found but not William's, nor their father's. * Children of William and Martha: Peter Edward, John Thomas, Meedy G, Martha M. * Peter Edward married Nancy Jane Anderson. John Thomas married Nancy Kizar Hill. Meedy G married a widow Rebecca Brewer and adopted her children. Matha M married Norman Campbell. William's father Peter Bozeman served in the American Revolution and left Darlington South Carolina about 1826. Peter's Estate was handled by son Jesse in Montgomery County Alabama and shows wife Sarah and several children. Peter and his father Mordecai Bozeman ( born 1735 NC ) are listed on the South Carolina Archives Roster of Soldiers of the American Revolution, Land Grants and are also mentioned in a book titled "Sketches of Bozeman" published in 1885. Peter was found on the 1790 census but his father was not.
