Bozeman, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound, mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament. Bozeman departed this life some time in the latter part of March 1850 leaving some property, consisting of Negroes personal property and a tract of land situated in the Parish of Claiborne in the aforesaid State of Louisiana, that her said husband made his late will and testament in which he nominated and appointed your petitioner sole executrix of said last will and testament, who has since been confirmed by order of your honorable court and letters testamentary granted to your petitioner under said will. Petitioner further represents that she has likewise been confirmed as natural tutrix for her minor children, (to wit) James Thomas Bozeman – Edward P – Jesse P – Sarah J – Mildred A.O. and Polly Ann Eliza Bozeman, all minors and the issues of her marriage with her said decreased husband Peter E. Bozeman. Petitioner further asks that it would be in the interest of the minor heirs of said succession, that the tract of land belonging to said succession, lying and being situated in the Parish of Claiborne, LA, be sold. Wherefore she prays your honorable court that a family meeting consisting of the following named persons (to wit) John Goodson, George H. Boyd, residents of said Parish, relatives and friends of said minors, be convoked for the purpose of taking into consideration deliberating upon the interest of said minors in said sale of the land above mentioned. The petition of Elizabeth Ann Bozeman Tutirx Edward Janetta Boseman minor heir issue of her marriage with Edward P. Bozeman decd respectfully represents that her said ward has an interest in the estate of her grandmother Gilla A. Boseman which said estate is in process of partition among the heirs thereof of which your petitioners ward is one. She further requests that experts duly appointed heirs reported that said estate cannot be divided in said and the court has decried a sale of the property of said succession. Stephens, Clerk Recorder State of Louisians Parish of Bienville Be it remembered that on this the 25th day of November one thousand eight hundred sixty two AD 1862 that I Moses Hurley Parish Recorder and Ex-Office Notary Public in and for said Parish and state duly elected qualified and commissioned according to law. In ----------to a commission issued out of the District Court be held in and for said parish and state by this clerk there of authorizing and requiring him said recorder to convoke and hold a family meeting composed of the following persons (to wit, A.
