I think George is another relative. My George Whitfield Monzingo was murdered in Lovelady TX abt. 1885. There’s quite a bit of the trial on the net. After his wife Nettie remarried W. T. or L. Robinson shortly after the murder, there is nothing about her until the 1900 census, and then nothing after that.
She is a mystery woman. I can’t even find information on her in LA. She was born in 1857 to Elizabeth Ann Ambrose and Edward Peter Bozeman and then just disappeared. Her father Ed Peter died the same month she was born and I can’t even find where in Bienville parish he is buried.
Thank you very much. The search goes on…….

1910 no sign of Nettie on any of these census pages........oddly there is another Robinson and Shaw family listed.........
George Monzingo's mother remarried and lived with her other son..........seems like everyone just moved to Texas........ 1900

Yes, in the 1900 census Nettie was living with her stepson, William Henry Monzingo. She was only about 10 years older than he was. I have not been able to find anything on Nettie since this 1900 census. I have heard that she may have remarried a Hopkins and died about 1917. But still, no evidence of that.
Thank you,

Edward Jeanetta Bozeman 's age puzzles me.........William cannot be her son.........unless she is his stepmother......She was young and I would guess that she remarried.........in Texas........
