There were several men by the name of Harrison that came to Virginia very early in the formation of the Virginia Company in the 1600s. They are called by the areas in which they settled. The most well known group is the James River Harrisons who migrated into Surry County. Charles City County became Prince George where another group of Harrisons lived. Some of them migrated into Surry County, also. |
