This is a web reproduction of a book put together by my dad and I in 1978. I still have a few hard copies, but now I can share the story of our family history with countless people.
This site is under construction, so not all the pages are there, including photos, and graphics such as maps and family tree charts. I hope you enjoy the information here. This book spurred others to find out more about their roots. Charles George Davis ("Chuck") is one. Before he died in 2005, he had written several books on the westward emmigration including one with more details about our Davis' trek to the west. "The Oskaloosa Company" is the one book that includes much more info and details on the wagon train and the town of Tampico. Just check a search engine such as google.
