Miss Agnes DUNCAN, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. DUNCAN, of Indianapolis, and Mr. David HAMILTON-CAMPBELL were married yesterday morning. The ceremony was performed in St. John’s Church by the Rev. Roland Cotton SMITH, in the presence of Miss Mary HAMILTON-CAMPBELL, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Charlotte RANSDELL, cousin of the bride. Arrangements for the wedding were hurriedly made, as the bride was making a short visit to her aunt, Mrs. RANSDELL, wife of the late Maj. Daniel M. RANSDELL, for many years sergeant-at-arms of the United States Senate, and the bridegroom came to Washington from his home in New York a few days ago.
The bride wore a tailored suit of blue serge made severely plain, with a large beaver collar, with cuffs and pockets of the beaver. Her small hat was of taupe trimmed with a taupe feather, and she wore a corsage bouquet of orchids and lilies of the valley. Mr. and Mrs. HAMILTON-CAMPBELL left immediately after the ceremony for a short wedding trip, and will make their home in New York. The bride has made her hoe in New York since the death of her parents, and has been visiting in Indianapolis with her aunt, Mrs. John F. WILSON.
