HISTORY OF NORTH FAIRFIELD MUSEUM
The Chapman Home was dedicated Oct. 29, 1944 for the use in housing our current museum, and the Public Library which has since relocated to the former bank building. Through the years many interesting memorabilia from this area have been loaned or donated to this cause.

The Historical Association was organized November 17, 1943. It was to be devoted to research in local history; acquisition of gifts of historical material for permanent display; and the loan of other interesting things for special exhibits. All are for the benefit of youth and pleasure and enrichment of everyone.
