Passing Of The Moons

Back Up Next

Passing Of The Moons

Once he who shared his love with her

That was so strong and true

Only finding him to have been

Forsaken by all her moves

For this, she does not blame him

If he were to turned, without knowing

What she had to say

For she knows, he has moved on

And has forgotten her

Yet, he holds her to blame

But, she only ask of him to listen,

As she has something to share

After many passing moons

She never even said hi

For this, she knows he doesn’t know why

Although she has wanted to,

She has been scared

For she is still with another

She knows he may ask her, "why?"

As she will answer, "This is all I will have"

Her reasoning for not saying hi,

Is not for shame nor sorrow

But she has kept a secret from him

Now, she has found its time to share

Yet, does not want the other to know

The charitable moments that him and her shared

She has not forgotten and still remembers

Because those are her memories she has chosen to hold

She knows, he may have forgotten, but she never will

Though, neither never did, look to the stars to see one

That had fallen from the heavens

Because of this, she and the other have been blessed

Passing Of The Moons Page 2

And after eight months of passing moons,

She finds herself telling him, this is why,

A new addition is soon to come unto her and the other

Just within, one last month of a passing moon

She never knew, until the first passing moon month

Of the beginning of the year

That the falling star either him or her never saw, was the falling

Star for her and the other that fell from heaven

The following passing moon month of the year before

Even though, she still does not love the other,

In which the other knows but yet, the other is still

Hopeful she will change her mind

She sacrifices to stay for that single falling star

That occurred eight passing moons ago

Now, that she has told him, she only ask

That he continues to hold their memories

Just between them

Forgive her for her wrong
