The Journals of
Miss Anne Davidson

This is the journal,  written between 1844 and 1853,  of Miss Anne Davidson, who lived part of the year in the city of Aberdeen and part at Inchmarlo, near Banchory,  Aberdeenshire, Scotland

Like many  young ladies of her time and class,  Anne Davidson wrote  something in her Journal every day.

This website will allow  you to read what she recorded each day 162 years ago, as well as finding out something about the people she met, the places she visited and the times she lived in.  Her entries are transcribed as written, including the spelling and punctuation.
