Bollon Cemetery
When Charles F. and Lila Culp conveyed land to the Tennessee Valley Authority, they made an exception of "1.8 acres more or less for the Bollon Cemetery lying with the boundaries herein described." Mr. Culp said "he had known the burial area for 58 years", based on the fact "his father had told him that he though there were some graves". The deed was made in 1939. The TVA determined there might be 100 graves, but classified it as "abandoned" because no information about the burials could be found and no burials had been made during Mr. Culp's lifetime. No further information is known about this family.
