This page is not currently associated with the Marshall County, Kentucky Historical and Genealogical Society; it is operated by independent genealogists and historians working to make cemetery records more widely available. This page is dedicated to three very special people: Elvira Lewis (1926-2003), whose tireless work preserving history in Marshall County, Kentucky will not soon be forgotten; Louis Sledd, Jr. (1945-2002), worker at the Marshall County, Kentucky Archives; and my beloved great-grandmother, Susan "Sue" Foust Fields (1922-2006), who made history come alive for me, and who got such joy out of visiting cemeteries and the cold basement of the Marshall County Courthouse to research with me. May their additions to the history of Marshall County never be forgotten, and may their spirits live on in those whose lives they touched.
