Mary Ann Terrell was born on 20 Oct 1929 in Houston, TX, daughter of John Butler Terrell and Irma Louise Garrett; grand daughter of Alexander Elton Garrett and Mary Lucy Spiller; gr. grand daughter of William Fielding Spiller and Elizabeth Catherine Irvine; gr. gr. grand daughter of George Anderson Spiller and Susan Diuguid, and Peter Belles Irvine (Memorial stone) and Minerva Tabor; gr. gr. gr. grand daughter of Susannah Tabor (wife of Rev. Isaac Tabor), all of whom are buried next to and around Mary Ann.
She was married 11 June 1948 in Houston to Rufus Alonzo Mills. They had two daughters, Mary Susan Mills and Sherry Ann Mills. The last years of Mary Ann's life were spent in Brenham, TX near her daughter, Susan. She passed away on 7 Nov 2005 at the age of 76. Her burial was 12 Nov 2005 in the Spiller plot.
