Grosbeck or Personville, TX; Griffin Hix Dossey, b. in Personville, TX; Fred Dossey* b. 1906 TX; and Lula Mae Dossey, b. 12 Oct 1906. Robert married (2) Viola Nadine Sharpe abt. 1918 in Conroe, Montgomery Co., TX. They were the parents of Ruthie Mae Dossey, b. in New Waverly, TX, Mary Marie Dossey, b. 11 Jul 1918 in the Shepard Hill area of Willis, Montgomery Co., TX, Roland Lee Dossey, b. 21 Jul 1921 in New Waverly, Walker Co., TX and Hazel Loraine Dossey, b. 18 Nov 1923 in Willis, Montgomery Co., TX.

Robert died in 1929 of complications from the flu during a flu epidemic. He was reported to be living 7 miles west of Willis, Tx at the time of his death. He and his 2nd wife, Viola, are buried side by side and both died in 1929 during the flu epidemic.

*Son, Fred Dossey is reported as an unmarked burial in the book, "Unmarked Graves of Montgomery County Texas", p. 25. It says he was buried in Shepard Hill Cem. which usually means the Catholic section adjoining; however, Fred was not Catholic and it's likely he would have been buried in the Old Danville section near his parents. There are field stones near Robert and Viola Dossey's graves, one of which may be Fred's burial place.
