Also included in the library's City Pauper Cemetery collection are the following name plates from the cemetery: H. Brooks 1884, 9/29/33 (number
190 in the left corner). All of these are the bright shiny aluminum ones that were made after 1937, except for H. Brooks. His appears to be the original copper or bronze one, and has a number in the lower left hand corner that was done only in the years 1933 and 1934. Also in this box were two row markers: 14 12 and 2 4. These are the same 2x3 in. square markers, printed in large black numerals with an arrow under "14" pointing east and an arrow under the "2" points west, while the arrow under the "4" points east, etc. |
