During this barrel roll, the photographer missed the middle shot while we were inverted. I think he had his eyes closed.






EARLY MODEL CESSNA 310

Being in the Air Force Reserves entitled me to join the flying club at NAS Dallas.
I earned my multi engine rating in this aircraft.

These airplanes are of particular interest to me, since my father, James Edward Castleman flew them from 1941 through 1945 while he was training the British RAF cadets at the No. 1 British Flying Training School in Terrell, Texas. These two photographs were taken in Terrell at the 50th reunion of this organization in 1991.
