Welcome to our site! Our mission is to promote historical education about the people and places of the city of Hazel Park, Michigan. Within these pages you will find links to scans and transcriptions from the files of the Hazel Park Historical Commission, as well as pictures from the Hazel Park Palladium and News newspapers (1939-1967).Included are selected works from Laurie Wilson, a local photographer that documented goings-on in HP for many years, as well as many items donated by others interested in preserving Hazel Park's history. We are in the process of digitizing our collection, and working to preserve the archives that we have.
If you like what you see, please consider a donation to the Commission! Any donations will be used toward further preservation, and a special thanks in this spot. (Also a nice thank you note...) :-)
