Is the oldest house built by a white man in
Grafton.
The original owner of the Willard House was Joseph Willard - 1716.
Joseph Willard was the first white settler in
Grafton.
He was a "Webster and a Farmer" and his four Grandchildren
(born between 1743-1757) were famous clockmakers.

The other "oldest house" is the Long House built by the Hassanamisco
Indians
which is said to be much older than the Willard House
