Hello everyone,
I am working in the Windham County Telegraph newspaper which later became the Windham County Transcript and was published in Danielson, CT from 1848 to about 1977. As I come across items for Worcester County will send them out to you.

Issue of 26 Feb. 1852 Thursday
Augustus Brooks of Grafton left his home in that town at sundown Thursday evening, saying he should not be home until midnight. He was found Friday morning on Brigham Hill, frozen to death in the road. Two
bottles of liquor were found in his pockets. Coroner Baker was called, but the evidence was so strong that he came to his death by intoxication, that he deemed it unnecessary to hold a jury of inquest upon the body of the deceased.--Worcester Spy

3 May 1860 Thursday
Rev. Origen Crane of Grafton, on Thursday week, while in the act of
swinging a friend, for exercise, lost his balance and fell forward,
striking his temple on a stone, from the effect of which he remained
unconscious, and died the next day. Mr. Crane was 55 yrs old, and has
been a Minister in Massachusetts during twenty-four years. He was highly
respected, and leaves his family greatly afflicted.--Worcester Spy.
