Two
Latitude/Longitude/elevation measurements were made for the Giillespie
Cemetery. One GPS reading was made on
the headstone of Sarah wife of C. Hart (Feb 22, 1820 - July 2, 1904). Accuracy = +/- 41 feet; elevation corrected to ground level = 1349
feet; latitude = N39o 45.190’; longitude = W081o
03.451’. A second reading was made on
the headstone of John H. & Amanda M Gillespie’s tombstone: Accuracy = +/- 16 feet; elevation corrected to ground level = 1321
feet; latitude = N39o 45.197’; longitude = W081o 03.444’.
