proceed to the Illinois and Fort Pitt; which men are
disposed off (death and desertions excepted) as
specified above, that is to say, such as end on the 3d
June. 1779, having joined the service of the State of
Virginia in the Illinois Department under my command,
and for whom I am accountable. Signed in prescense of
Brigadier General Clark at Fort Nelson, this Sixteenth
day of May one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty- two.
