HELP!

Various correspondents are looking for information on the following ghost towns in PENNSYLVANIA.  These are not listed on my main page for this state, nor do I have anything in my records on them.  Are you able to help?  If so please respond to me and I will forward the information on to those looking for the information.

EDGERTON:

“Do you have any info on an old mining settlement that was located close to Mayfield, north of Scranton, called Edgerton? There is a reservoir by the same name close by where I have explored and found old foundations and a few old telephone poles.

WATER CURE:

Today I talked to a fellow in the Pennsylvania Room at the Carnegie Library which I believe is in Allegheny County, PA. I was looking for information on one of my ancestors. (He) attended the Soldiers' Orphan School in Mercer County (1868) and then transferred to the Soldiers' Orphan School in Beaver County (1874). In the information provided regarding

him, it was stated "Post Office address when home" and the small town or burg mentioned was Water Cure.  Have you heard of Water Cure, Pennsylvania?
