correspondents are looking for information on the following ghost towns in ARIZONA. These are not listed on my main page for this
state, nor do I have anything in my records on them. Are you able to help? If so please respond to me and I will forward the information
on to those looking for the information.
Arizona Flag:
One
correspondent is looking for an AZ flag with the rising sun on it. It was the original flag and was changed due
to WW II, It was earlier than the current star, dating
1912-1940.
NUGGET - unknown county:
Hello, We are looking for
information on a town called Nugget, AZ. established in or about 1881. The Postmaster's name was George Santan. The town
closed down in or about 1884. Can you
tell me anything about the town and or George Santan??? (Mary 05/15/2007)
Stagecoach Station:
Located in the Kingman area.
Unnamed Mormon
Settlement:
“There's
an old Mormon settlement ruins NE of Golden Valley (west of Kingman). It’s off Estrella Rd somewhere 4-6 miles north of Hwy 93. It's been
25 yrs. since I was there and can't seem to find it now!“
