HELP!

Various correspondents are looking for information on the following ghost towns in ALASKA.  These are not listed on my main page for this state, nor do I have anything in my records on them.  Are you able to help?  If so please respond to me and I will forward the information on to those looking for the information.

UNKNOWN LOCATION (Valdez-Cordova Borough):

Unnamed boomtown on Lake Klutina.  May have been in British Columbia.  No dates were noted in the E-mail.

According to GNIS, several hundred folks camped on the shores of this lake (also known as Abercrombie Lake) in 1898.  They were probably on their way to the interior gold mines. The lake is about 45 miles north of Valdez and southwest of Copper Center.  A trail leads from the east side of the lake to the Copper Center area. (GBS)
