    History & Achievements :

    Sergeant Major William Jamison. Sentenced to death at the Savoy prison. Was pardoned to serve life in the New South Wales Corps. Arrived with his family on board the ship " Queen " . Attained the rank of Sergeant in 1792. and Sergeant Major by 1801. Attatched to Captain Grose's company till 1801 when he was transferred to Captain Paterson's Company William snr was granted lands at Spring Row. lease # 141 & 175 as well as 100 acres at York Place . He died in 1802
