In researching my Mowrey ancestors, I was told of a little church cemetery in Marion County, Indiana, about 1/2 mile NE of the Indiana State Fairgrounds at 42nd & Millersville Road in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.

This website is just a sampling of the wonderful information that has been compiled by several new cousins I have met in my search.

Alloway, who has spent many hours in the cemetery platting, taking photos and providing me with a lot of the information located on this website.  Also, we would like to thank Gwen Horth, the Washington Township Trustee, for providing the money to have this old pioneer cemetery restored.  Also, Mr. John Walters and his crew from Graveyard Groomers, for the beautiful and extensive work he has done on the cemetery.  He has done a magnificent job.

  I hope you enjoy this website as much as we have enjoyed researching the families here.  It has truly been a labor of love.
