This very nice wall clock was made by The Standard Electric
Time Co. of Springfield Mass. When I took off the wooden back there was
a 1916 date stamped inside. At the same time I discovered that the original
clock mechanism had been removed and replaced with a battery mechanism.
It does keep good time this way however and looks great hanging on the
wall. It has its original dark finish (mahogany I think) but there are
some white paint splatters mainly on the top,(see pictures). Please e-mail
