London Township
Brick Street Cemetery
Brick Street Cemetery This cemetery served as the burial ground for settlers who first arrived in Westminster Township in 1810. In use by 1819, it is situated on land originally granted to Peter McNames and James Sheldon. Though the farms which once surrounded it have been subdivided, the Brick Street Cemetery, now the charge of Mount Zion United Church, remains as a memorial to our pioneer ancestors. Erected by the London Foundation with the assistance of the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Culture |
