Dysart Twp.

Evergreen Cemetery is located in Concession 9, Lot 19 of Dysart Township, Haliburton County. This is the county’s largest cemetery.  There are 2079 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.  This stone is of the ‘first Reeve of Haliburton County’.


 


 


 

 

St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Cemetery is located in Concession 9, Lot 19 of Dysart Township, Haliburton County.  There are 70 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.



 

 

West Guilford Baptist Cemetery is located in the village of West Guilford on Highway 118, about 14 km. east of Carnarvon, in Haliburton County.  There are 105 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.

Minden Twp.

Bethel United Church Cemetery is located in Concession 4, Lot 11, of Minden Township, Haliburton County.  This photo shows a typical reference to an early pioneer family that had emigrated from England.  There are 143 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.

 


 

 

 

 

Minden Community Cemetery is located in the village of Minden in Haliburton County.  It is the second largest cemetery in this county.  There are 1822 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.



 

 

Twelve Mile Lake Cemetery is located in Concession 11, Lot 14, Minden Township, Haliburton County on the east side of Twelve Mile Lake Road, off Highway 35, about 3 km. south of Carnarvon.  There are 566 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.  (First picture is: Centennial Plaque celebrating 100 years of the Twelve Mile Lake Cemetery.)

Stanhope Twp.

 

Mason Family burial plot.
A small brass plaque identifies the three burials in the family plot located on the original Mason Farm at Concession 5, Lot 9 in Stanhope Township, Haliburton County, on the Boshkung Lake Road, about 2.5 km. west of Buttermilk Falls on Highway 35.  These burials occurred prior to the establishment of any formal burying ground in this portion of Haliburton County.



 

 

A Cairn to the memory of 24 original Pioneers of Stanhope Township, in Haliburton County is located on the Boshkung Lake Road, about 500 metres west of Buttermilk Falls on Highway 35.

St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery is located in Concession 4, Lot 21 of Stanhope Township in Haliburton County at the west end of Maple Lake, about 1 km. north of Highway 118 on the St. Peter’s Road.  There are 362 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.



 

 

Zion United Church Cemetery is located in Concession 1, of Lot 15, Stanhope Township, Haliburton County at the village of Carnarvon on Highway 35.  There are 161 burial recordings by the Haliburton Highlands Genealogy Group.
