Town Sign - First organized town in the Ohio Valley. Formed in
1787. First court of Ohio County met at Black's Cabin here in 1777. Nearby is grave of
Captain Samuel Brady, hero of the Pennsylvania and Virginia frontiers.

1795 [most sources give death date as 1796 rather than 1795]
