I found your website while I was searching for my grandfather with the help of the internet. On your website you have a photo of original employees who worked at the Kerr-Addison Gold Mines in 1958.

As far as I know my grandfarher immigrated to Canada in 1951 and was then working at the Kerr-Addison Gold Mines Limited, Virginia Town, Ontario (Manager: D. S. Row).

I wondered if you knew someone who could help me to find out my grandfather´s address (I hope he is still alive), because I would like to get in touch.

But because of my father never having met his own father I unfortunately only have very little information about my grandfather (see below). I´d be glad if you would try to help me and therefore I´m looking forward to hearing from you -- Nicole Roskosch (Germany)

  Virginiatown, Ontario (ed note: this may mean his residence was given as Virginiatown)
• Worked at: Kerr - Addison Gold Mines Limited, Virginia Town - Ontario; Manager: D. S. Row
• Department of Citizenship and Immigration (address: 137 B Third Avenue, Rooms 5 & 6, Timmins, Ontario; Immigration Inspector - in Charge -- G.B. Love(?); 1951); in a letter it said: "In your reply please refer to No 1954".
• Mr. Edward Kenrick, Barrister, Solicitor & Notary Public, of Virginiatown and Larder Lake, Ontario
• Immigration Inspector at the office of Mr. Alex Harris, on the Wright-Hargreaves Mines property
