Rose ____?was born in Springfield Missouri in 1914.She met Mike Flournoy when he was in the army at Ft Leonard Wood. They were married in 1942.She was married to him when he served for almost 26 years as Wharton County Sheriff. When he died in office she was appointed on January 8, 1980 and served until December 31,1979 when she resigned. They had two children James Boyer Flournoy and Elaine F. Brinkman
