DEATH OF CARLTON
DAVIDSON

Popular Lad Who Was Raised
Here Dies Suddenly at Val-
Paraiso, Ind.

Relatives and friends in
Wharton received the sad news
yesterday from Bryan that
Carlton Davidson, son of Dr.
and Mrs. J.C. Davidson, was
very seriously ill at Valparaiso,
Ind., where he was attending
school. A little later followed
the news of his death. So far
as information is obtainable, it
was occasioned from an acute
attack of septic sore throat.

Carlton Davidson occupied a
large place int he hearts of all
who knew him here, men, wom-
an and children alike appreciat-
ed him for his manly character,
his absolute integrity, his un-
wavering courtesy, kind heart
and happy disposition. A boy
born and raised almost to man-
hood in Wharton, there are few
here but grieve with the family
in his sudden and untimely
death.

The Spectator joins the com-
munity in extending to the be-
reft parents and brothers and
sisters, sincerest sympathy.
