Mr. And Mrs. W.S. Hodge and baby, Billy of Houston are new residents and are a very welcome addition to our little town.

Glen Flora has a good drug store, but needs a resident doctor. Dr. W.L. Davidson has removed to Houston and it is a long way to get a doctor in Houston in an emergency.

Miss Alma Senf of the Mercantile�s sales force visited her father and mother in Iago Sunday

Ed. Vonderau, a graduate barber, has opened a shop here

Our school principal, Miss Anna K. Riley has been on the sick list this week, and Miss Laura Belle Roten of Wharton has been teaching in her place.

Henry Heyne is much improved and hopes soon to be out and around again

Mrs. Robert Duerr and Mrs. L. Ordner of Columbus are now visiting relatives here

Ben Davis is taking the scholastic census

Rev. Dowing of Wharton preached here Sunday morning

Rev Wolf of El Campo held confirmation service at the Lutheran Church Sunday evening
