Please bear in mind when noting the names above, I was born in
1973, and knew some of these folks as members of the "Baptist"
Church in the Center. I was a member of the Senior Choir, and sang
with several of these people.

 Clipping of the Calling of John Shanley, Divinity
Student, to the Pastorate of the Second Baptist Church, about 1934. (He
was not to be ordained until after his studies were completed, for my grandparents were married on 7 Aug 1935, but had to be married
by the 1st Baptist minister, Rev. Paul Goodwin, because Mr. Shanley could
not do this until after he had been ordained.) |
