Lodge 68 FA&AM, Masonic Lodge
R&AM and Council 97 R&AM, all of Barnesville, Cambridge Commandry and
Knights Templar. He was also a member of
United Steelworkers of America.

wife, Peggy Dyer Carpenter; two sons, Ty
Carpenter and Adam Carpenter of the home;

Carpenter, 85, of
Mr. Carpenter died Friday afternoon
(April 2, 1982) at Fairview Manor Nursing Home, Beverly. He was a retired
farmer and merchant.
Preceding him in death were his first
wife, Viola Stephens Carpenter, in 1956 and his second wife, Stella Carpenter,
in 1980.
